Terms of Service

What the Service is

Tape to Turf analyzes a video you upload of a batting, pitching, or fielding rep using computer-vision joint tracking, and returns a scored breakdown, capture-frame stills, and suggested drills. It's a training aid meant to support practice — it is not a certified scouting evaluation, a medical or injury-risk assessment, or a substitute for in-person coaching. Scores come from a heuristic model, not a guarantee of future performance.

Accounts

• You need an account to use the Service, and you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when you sign up.
• One account per person. Team-tier accounts are for a single coach managing their own roster, not for sharing login access broadly.

Subscriptions & billing

• Player and Team plans are billed monthly through Stripe at the price shown at checkout.
• You can cancel anytime from the Player Portal — your plan stays active through the end of the period you've already paid for, then moves to Free.
• We don't provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
• If a payment fails, we'll retry it automatically; if it keeps failing, your account moves to the Free plan.
• We may change prices going forward, but not for a billing period you've already paid for.

Your content

You keep all rights to the videos you upload — we don't claim ownership of them. As explained in our Video & Data Policy, your raw video is processed entirely in your browser and is never uploaded to our servers. You confirm that you have the right to submit any video you upload (for example, that you're the player, parent/guardian, or coach with permission to record and analyze it).

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to:

• Upload video of someone else without their (or their guardian's) permission.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service for anything illegal or to violate anyone else's rights.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." Joint-tracking accuracy depends on filming conditions (angle, lighting, framing), and scores are directional feedback from a heuristic model — not a validated or certified assessment. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tape to Turf isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Meaningful changes will update the effective date above.
